We manufacture a full range of high bar equipment including height adjustable training bars, pit mounted high bars and competition level FIG approved high bars.

  We, and the FIG, recommend that steel bars are replaced every three years to reduce the possibility of bar breakage.

Height adjustable high bar

Ref:275A - New design allows very easy height adjustment in 200mm increments from 0.95m to 2.75m. Also fits an asymmetric bar wood and can be used at 'A'-bar heights of 2.4m and 1.6m. Supplied with a quick cable tensioning system.

Cableless high bar

We can provide various types of cableless training high bars which can incorporate a variety of fixing methods including wall and floor fixings.

The image to the right shows a typical height adjustable training low bar over a U-shapd pit which we installed at the Central Manchester Institute of Gymnastics. The bar is exactly the same polished steel bar as our FIG approved high bar, but the uprights are solidly bolted to the floor which means they can remain rigid without requiring support cables.

These cableless arrangements enable the coach to work in a much more free environment without having to jump over cables while coaching.

Junior high bar

Our new range of highest quality training apparatus for the younger gymnast is the new Junior Gym range:

The Junior Gym high bar provides a great introduction to this piece of apparatus.

The standard horizontal bar is manufactured in a similar way to our FIG standard asymmetric bar rails - a timber veneered fibreglass bar but with a slightly smaller diameter and slightly more flex. This bar will present modest spring or flex to the lighter junior gymnast but brings them close to the sensation of the senior apparatus.
