Carpet surface landing mat ("Biscuit" mats)

FIG approved. Accepted as the ultimate mat for safe, reliable and stable landing situations for all levels of competition and training. The filling is made from a variety of foams with side supports to ensure standard performance over the whole area of the mat. The surface is contract quality heavy duty broadloom carpet. Strong integral carpet covered velcro flaps are used for linking.

FIG approved. Covered in double sided heavy PVC with a leather look finish. The filling is a combination of foams with side wall supports designed to give the same performance characteristics over the whole area of the mat. Strong velcro strips are sewn to the edges of the mat used for linking.

Safety mats ("Crash" mats)

Supplied with removable covers in either leather grained PVC or cotton canvas.

The pvc mats have hidden zips to remove the covers and the canvas mats have velcro opening acces panels.

Both types have strong carrying handles on the two long sides.

Anti-slip bases are available as an option. The soft foam inner, which can be supplied in standard or a combustion modified version makes these the ideal mat for all awkward landing situations.

The PVC covered mat is available in red or blue as standard (with yellow and green also available on special order).

The canvas covered mat is available in blue. (Other canvas colours may be available - if you have any special requirements please contact us to discuss what colours are available)

Please note that safety mats must not be dragged using the handles as this can damage the covers and handles. The mats should always be picked up using the handles and carried.

Supplementary soft landing mat ("Splat" mats)

FIG approved. PVC covered soft landing mat to be used with other landing mats when an additional degree of protection is required.

The 4m version of this mat can be marked with vault zone markings, however, supplementary mats for vault should now be 6m long - see below

FIG approved PVC covered soft landing mat for use with vault.

The mat is 6m x 2m x 100mm and has vault zone markings.

The mat has the new style "funnel" shaped zone markings that start 1m apart behind the table and open out to 1.5m apart at the end of the mat.

Ref:297 - A polyethylene foam filled mat with a leather grained PVC cover and a new PVC anti-slip base. An extremely light and hardwearing mat. Ideal for vertical storage.

Ref:297E - As the 297 but with velcro flaps for linking. The velcro flaps are an integral part of the pvc cover to provide them with additional strength.

Polyblend mat

Ref:310 - The cover is the same as the Lytamat but the filling is a combination of polyethylene foam and chipfoam giving a mid-weight hard wearing mat.

Chipfoam mat

Ref:300 - A range of mats constructed from a high quality reconstituted fire retardant foam with vinyl covers and latex ani-slip undersides. These mats should be stored horizontally.

Featuring precision water cut jigsaw edges enabling the mats to be linked with absolutely NO GAPS between the mats. Previously only available in the latest in judo or karate mats, this feature is now available in this exercise mat - prevent toes or fingers being caught between the edges of traditional velcro linked mats.

The mat features a multi-layer construction with many unique features including:

• Tatami surface for a sure-grip in landing situations
• A firm top layer to give support to landings
• High resistance layers for impact resistance
• Core cushioning layer for shock absorption
• Integrated base to enhance the anti-slip properties of the mat

What is Trocellen®? - It is a cross-linked polyethylene foam made from polyolefin resins. What that means to you is a high level of plasticity and elasticity, low weight, high impermeability, hard wearing, long lasting mats that are hypo-allergenic, antibacterial and anti-fungal.

The mats (shown above) are available in 1m x 1m x 40mm sections.

Link into any size or shape with absolutely no gaps (the above image shows the linking of four mats)

The precision water jet cut edges (shown on the graphic above) are easy to link. Just line up the "arrows" on one corner of the mats in the same direction and push into place.

The multi-layer high performance foams permanently heat bonded together allow previously unheard of specific performance criteria to be met.

In the above image the central core cushioning layer can be seen providing amazing shock absorption properties

The graphic to the right shows the surface of the mat - a fantastic heat embossed "Tatami" pattern to give a sure-grip when exercising and landing
The graphic to the right shows the underside of the mat - a bespoke anti-slip layer is heat embossed to the last layer of foam to enhance the anti-slip properties of the mat

The graphic above shows each of the heat bonded layers. This bonding uses no glues - flames slightly melt the surface of each layer which are then fused permanently together - the layers become permanently joined.

Agility mats

Ref:291 - 50mm deep chipfoam with either a cotton canvas or PVC cover. Both have anti-slip bases. Can be rolled for storage. All agility mats are manufactured with fire retardant foam.
