Parallel bars

Ref:250F - Competition parallel bars. FIG approved. Heavy cast supports on a box section base giving a high degree of stability. Rails are plywood reinforced with fibreglass, screwed and bolted to the supports. Simple proven height and width adjustment method.

Ref:251A-Standard parallel bars. Identical to the FIG approved model, but without the fibreglass reinforcements in the rails.

Parallel bar platform

Allows support to be given over the full length of the bars. Simply slots over the bar. Folds flat for storage.

Parallel bar transporter

Robust transporter with large rubber wheels suitable for any floor service. Strongly recommended if parallel bars are to be moved on a frequent basis.

Pit mounted parallel bars

Competition parallel bars mounted alongside a pit edge to allow dismount into the pit. Identical to competition parallel bars but with a modified base and rotated legs on the pit side, enabling mounting as close to the pit edge as possible.

Available with FIG regulation fibreglass reinforced rails, or with standard rails. (picture shown complete with optional coaching platform)

Junior parallel bars

Our new range of highest quality training apparatus for the younger gymnast is the new Junior Gym range:

Junior Gym parallel bars provide a great introduction to working with the senior version.

The apparatus is freestanding and the width between the bars is easily adjusted using the simple sprung locating pins and thumbscrews in the bases.

The standard bars are manufactured in a similar way to our FIG standard asymmetric bars rail - a timber veneered fibreglass bar but with a slightly smaller diameter and slightly more flex. This bar will present modest spring or flex to the lighter junior gymnast but brings them close to the sensation of the senior apparatus.
