Ref:421B - New from Continental - our premier competition badminton posts are suitable for international badminton competition. From high level club badminton through county, national and international badminton, you cannot buy a better premier competition post.

International Badminton Federation and Badminton Association of England compliant badminton posts:

• No part of the post encroaches into the court
  
• The headline is tensioned so as to achieve official height along its length (1550mm at the post) – when properly tensioned, the net headline is virtually horizontal which exceeds the official requirements that allow for some sagging (to 1524mm in the middle of the net)
  
• No gaps between the sides of the net and the posts
  
• Totally stable posts with four non-marking rubber feet including micro-adjustment to compensate for any fluctuations in floor surface

Optional freestanding or floor fixed use:

• Posts can be used without weights, but with floor fixings (supplied by Continental)
  
• Detachable weights (each weight is 60kg) can be used if no floor fixings are available

One post has a ratchet tightening mechanism to ensure a flat net headline and the other has a tie-off cleat

Each post features:

• Two micro-adjustable front feet to ensure perfect vertical alignment in both planes
  
• Four non-marking rubber feet
  
• Two heavy duty non marking wheels to enable easy transport to and from storage
  
• Nylon pulley mechanism to hold the tensioned headline
  
• Net retaining rods to hold the sides of the net flush against the post

A pair of posts comes complete with a bespoke competition standard net with sewn in matching red pvc sleeves to attach easily and quickly to the net retaining rods (avoids having to weave the rods through the net)

Standard badminton posts

Ref:421A - Badminton posts. Manufactured from heavy duty steel tube with built in weight for extra stability. Complete with net and integral transport wheels. These posts are free-standing, but are supplied with provision to bolt to the floor (requires floor fixings to be installed - see below for details) if specified as a requirement when ordered.

Badminton posts come complete with additional low level cleats to enable their use as short tennis posts.

Badminton equipment

We are able to supply all the ancillary equipment required for badminton - Normally supplied as part of a full sports hall installation, the pricing of this equipment depends on the value of the overall package of equipment so please contact us for details.

Ref:BAD01 - Carlton 4.3 Badminton racket. The 4.3 racket has an aluminium head with steel shaft for maximum power and durability. It is available in two lengths, the Junior being 13cm shorter and 10g lighter than the Senior - suitable for younger players, ideal for 5-10 year olds.

Ref:BAD02 - Club model shuttles. Designed and engineered to provide top quality at competitive prices, the Club C100 offers exceptional performance to the leisure player. Available in white, medium speed only. Supplied in dozens.

Ref:BAD03 - Competition model shuttles. Offers outstanding performance that closely matches the playing characteristics of feather shuttlecocks in terms of fast turnaround, peak and drop and flight trajectory. Construction is ultra high durability white nylon and a natural cork base. Available in fast, medium and slow speeds. Supplied in dozens.

Ref:432 - Gamespost floorplates and anchorages. Available for all types of sports hall floor - solid, semi-sprung, granwood, gransprung etc.

When ordering gamespost anchorages or floorplates, please make sure you inform us of the exact type of your floor and whether you have underfloor heating. Failure to do so can result in an abortive visit charge.
