Trocellen linkable karate mats

Trocellen® Karate mats - due to a particular combination of density and thickness, these mats are a genuine breakthrough in technical matting.

These mats are suitable for a range of martial arts where a firm surface is important and absorption from falls is not a key requirement such as karate and tae-kwondo.

The mats are precision water jet cut with a jigsaw edge for linking without gaps - no toe traps!. Manufactured from three heat bonded foam layers - no glues are used in the manufacture so the mat cannot de-laminate. The perfection of the water jet cutting technique ensures an absolutely consistent base and an incredibly high constancy in the capacity to support the weight of the athletes.

Each modular unit is 1m x 1m x 20mm and weighs 2kg.

The mats are anti-slip thanks to the special tatami (rice grain) pattern embossed surface.

They are reversible with blue on one side and red on the other to enable marking out the combat area, perimeter and safety zone.

The mats can easily be wiped clean and are hypo-allergenic and impermeable to water.
