The Powerboard

The latest in springboard development - designed for the needs of gymnasts and coaches alike, we can now launch the Powerboard - a fully adjustable springboard from Continental.

Developed in conjunction with gymnasts and coaches at Lilleshall National Sports Centre - the home of British Gymnastics - and the Central Manchester Institute of Gymnastics this springboard is now available.

The springboard comes complete with five permanent springs and four removable springs - this enables the springboard to be configured as a "hard" or a "soft" board, and the exact performance can be tailored to suit the individual gymnast.

The unique springing system features easy to remove and insert springs using the specially designed tool.

The design totally eliminates the trapped fingers, cuts and spring-crushing required by some other boards.

The spring insertion and removal tool is clipped in place and stored within a storage clip inside the springboard.

Handles are incorporated in strategic points based on the board's centre of gravity to enable it to be carried simply with one hand.

Portable freestanding ballet barre

We have installed permanent wall fixed or floor fixed ballet barre in thousands of dance studios, aerobics facilities and private homes throughout the UK. Due to popular demand from customers who cannot have such permanent barre, we have developed a range of portable freestanding ballet barre units.

This simple and flexible ballet barre system permits the use of ballet barre in rooms that cannot have permanently installed ballet barre - for example multi-use rooms, private homes, general classrooms and anywhere where casual use of ballet barre is required.

Available with standard bases and three different barre units: single height, dual height and double sided.

The barre is manufactured from exactly the same high quality 48mm diameter Colombian Pine that we use for our permanent barre. The timber is given several coats of hard wearing polyurethane lacquer to provide an attractive hard-wearing durable finish. Each barre is 2m long.

All steelwork is epoxy powder coated in dove grey and all uprights are height adjustable with nylon thumbscrews to hold the barre fixed at your choice of height.

Foam springboard and take-off board

Popular demand from gymnastics coaches and school PE teachers has lead us to develop these two new products for junior gymnasts

The foam springboard is a genuine plywood and foam spring system springboard with a foam covering all enclosed in a brightly coloured PVC removable cover with integral carrying handle and waffle texture anti-slip base. It is lightweight and easy for childern to carry themselves using the integral nyon webbing handle.

The mini foam take-off board is a solid foam construction ramp giving the more junior gymnast a fun way to access equipment such as nesting or movement tables as a fun introduction to the standard equipment.
