Continental is delighted to continue its successful relationship with gymnastics in Scotland.  In the past week Continental is delighted to have won two prestigious projects - the refurbishment and extension of the National Sports Training Centre at Largs, and the new gymnastics training centre at the McTaggart Centre, Dundee.

Continental originally fitted out the Inverclyde's National Sports Training Centre some 30 years ago with a number of refurbishments since then.  The current project will see a revised and improved layout with a substantial investment in new gymnastics apparatus and an extension to the building to accomodate a wider range of equipment.

In Dundee the Dick McTaggart centre was previously a sports hall (fitted out by Continental some 25 years ago!).  It is being refurbished by Hadden Construction including the installation of a substantial sunken pitted area.  Continental started its involvement with the McTaggart project 9 years ago and have worked with various stakeholders through the life of the project and are delighted now to be at the point of manufacturing the equipment and planning the fit-out for May 2012.

As part of its assistance to the stakeholders to enable them to visualise the gymnastics facility more easily than an architect's drawing, Continental have made a significant investment in 3D modelling capability to produce the image above and a video "fly-around" of the facility shown below.
