Judo Mat
Vinyl
surface mat constructed using a special heavy
density foam. The vinyl cover has a traditional
rice-grain pattern surface. A frame is available
to lock a group of mats together to create a competition
area.
The
diagrams below right show typical mat layouts
for judo training areas. The required area is
8m x 8m. Depending on the size of your room, you
can then add a 1m red zone to give a 10mx10m area
If you have more room you can add a 1m green outer
safety zone to give the 12mx12m area, or scale
up to the 14m x 14m competition size area with
a 2m outer green safety zone.
